Microsoft Visual Studio Express is a set of freeware integrated development environment (IDE) developed by Microsoft that is a light version of Microsoft Visual Studio. The idea of the express edition, Microsoft is to provide efficient, easy to use and easy to learn for users IDE than professional software developer, is like fans and students. The final version was released on 19 November 2007 and the Service Pack 1 version (Service Pack 1) was released on 11 August 2008.
In line with the increasingly popular since Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions, this issue will always be free of charge. Visual Studio 2008 Express Editions require Windows XP or later versions of Windows; Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows 9x is no longer supported. Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions can be installed on Windows 2000 SP4. At the end of April 2009, Microsoft has discontinued all previous versions of Visual Studio Express, including 2005. It is no longer possible to obtain an earlier version of the Microsoft website.
